Beached is a beauty brand with a difference; they believe that instead of making up, it’s better to make down.
Inspired by the relaxed attitude of the effortless Aussie look, Beached produces all natural products that help you take that spirit from the beach to the street.
How do you design for a brand that bottles a cultural outlook?
Solution
The beauty category is full of brands that seem to be afraid of having a distinct personality; even the most modern entries tend to slide straight into category codes. We knew that Beached needed to break the mould, evoking the wit and warmth of an Aussie on form.
We began by playing with the visual language of the coast – waves, wind, dunes, pebbles, aqua and reddened Australian earth.
Combined into flexible, ever changing forms, with a tongue-in-cheek tone of voice and sun kissed photography, Beached is a brand unashamed to be itself.
